Aramid
“Lightweight for its strength, firm, and highly technical”
Aramid is valued for heat and abrasion resistance, not softness. In everyday apparel, it is usually blended with other fibers.
Like a thin, firm protective layer
Fiber percentages alone cannot tell whether the fabric will look shiny or matte. Yarn shape and finishing can make a substantial difference.
The surface may range from smooth to softly brushed, so actual product photos will be especially helpful.
It is more likely to hold the garment's shape than cling to the body.
